Helpful Hints for Projector Lamp Life

Lamp life will vary with application, installation, intake of cool air, exhaust of hot air, usage and proper maintenance. Heat build up can reduce lamp life and damage the projector.
In order to assist you in the operation and the maintenance of your projector lamp, here are some items that should be noted:
-
Once you turn the projector "ON" wait at least five minutes before turning it "OFF", allowing proper fan cooling before unplugging unit.
-
Don't obstruct the air intake or exhaust vent.
-
Keep the exhaust vent at least two feet away from any object.
-
If the projector is to be built into a compartment, wall, ceiling, or shelf mount; the minimum (at least two feet) distance requirement as stated in the owner's manual must be maintained.
-
Clean the air intake filter every three to six months, or more; based on the operating environment.
-
Do not move the projector until the lamp has cooled. Wait at least five minutes after turning it "OFF".
