Like its little brother the
BRC300, Sony's BRCZ700 is a robotic camera designed for single-person remote operation. Unlike the
BRC300, however, the BRCZ700 can capture full 1080i footage with its 1/4" 3 CMOS sensors, and has increased optical and digital zoom capabilities. The BRC-Z700 supports simultaneous outputs of analog HD Y/Pb/Pr output as well as Y/C and composite in Standard Definition (SD). It is also equipped with a slot for optional cards to adapt to diverse
needs. By inserting the optional BRBK-HSD1 card into this slot, High
Definition SDI (HD-SDI) as well as down converted SD SDI output is
possible by proper selection (not simultaneously). If your broadcast or in-house production needs include high definition video, this is the camera for you. Perfect for
TriCaster's new HD compatible models.
