Greatest Reward: “My set-up time has greatly reduced.”
Art Hatch has a lot on his plate. He is responsible for various tasks from training program design and presentation delivery to Strategic Tactical Problem Trainer for twelve Oregon fire stations. Now, with his new multimedia equipment Hatch says, “I can deliver up to speed presentations with current training trends and 20th century practices and methodology”. Instead of going through boxes of video tapes and overhead transparencies, he can just insert one CDROM into his laptop. He went from a 20” TV and flip chart for 5 attendees to two training rooms, with multi-media podium, digital projector & 7’ screen for up to 100 attendees. Now more than ever he needed to make the most of his technological investment. He accomplished this by reducing the set-up time with portable, easy to use equipment. “Economically, this new multimedia equipment was a good investment by the City of Redmond because it reduced reoccurring man hours,” Hatch said. |
